Video File Renamer 4.0

A new version of the plugin that allows to rename video files in your collection using information from Movienizer. There are several important changes:
  • Different layout. Controls are now on the top, the list of filenames is in the lower part. This allows to use the full width of the window.
  • Instead of 1 column, 3 columns are shown: title of the movie, previous filename, new filename.
  • With the previous version, it was possible to create such filename that would not be written to the database correctly. The new version removes special characters that cannot be used.
  • A log of renamed files is created. While you can undo your last action in the plugin, it is of no use if you close the plugin window and then discover that something is wrong. However, the log does not allow to undo the operation using the plugin (I will probably add the feature later).
To install the new version, just unpack the attached file to Program files\Movienizer\Plugins (or Program files (x86)\Movienizer\Plugins if you use a 64-bit system).

A new version of the plugin is now available. It can also rename associated files. If the option is selected and you are renaming some "Avatar.avi" file, the plugin will also rename all Avatar. files that it finds in the folder (Avatar.jpg, Avatar.txt, etc.).

The plugin now also remembers your settings between sessions.
