Some book series have editions that are .5 or 2.5. Could this be fixed so that we don't have to just pick a whole Number.
My Soul to Lose (Soul Screamers, #0.5) Example.

Thanks,

I have this same question more than 2 1/2 years later...

Has there been any thought about adding the decimal point to the series number field? It seems like more and more authors are writing stories that happen during the time between previous books - or they write short novellas that they give a .1 or a .5 increment in the series order.

For instance look at the "Jack Reacher" series by Lee Child as ordered by Goodreads and Audible:

Killing Floor (Jack Reacher, #1)
Die Trying (Jack Reacher, #2)
Tripwire (Jack Reacher, #3)
Running Blind (Jack Reacher, #4)
Echo Burning (Jack Reacher, #5)
Without Fail (Jack Reacher, #6)
Persuader (Jack Reacher, #7)
The Enemy (Jack Reacher, #8)
One Shot (Jack Reacher, #9)
The Hard Way (Jack Reacher, #10)
Bad Luck and Trouble (Jack Reacher, #11)
Nothing to Lose (Jack Reacher, #12)
Guy Walks into a Bar... (Jack Reacher, #12.5)
Gone Tomorrow (Jack Reacher, #13)
61 Hours (Jack Reacher, #14)
Worth Dying For (Jack Reacher, #15)
Second Son (Jack Reacher, #15.5)
The Affair (Jack Reacher, #16)
Deep Down (Jack Reacher, #16.5)
A Wanted Man (Jack Reacher, #17)
High Heat (Jack Reacher, #17.5)
Never Go Back (Jack Reacher, #18)
Not a Drill (Jack Reacher, #18.5)
Personal (Jack Reacher, #19)
Small Wars (Jack Reacher, #19.5)
Make Me (Jack Reacher, #20)
Night School (Jack Reacher, #21)

I have 26 of these 27 books, and it gets a little confusing if I can only use whole numbers to order them.

Thanks for looking at this!!!!
